I also have a problem with Evolution becoming unresponsive for 20-30 seconds but only on one of two machines.
The machine on which it occurs is running Feisty on a 64 bit dual core processor: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 3600+ This is a new install of Feisty The other machine is a 32 bit processor: AMD Sempron(tm) Processor 2800+ which was upgraded to Feisty from Edgy. On the machine where it hangs, evolution is taking up to 101% CPU and 9.6% of memory. My evolution account uses a number of folders, some nested, and filters to put mail in them automatically.
