On a eeePC 1000HE, wireless stopped working part way during the upgrade to 11.10 and did not come back; ifconfig showed no wireless interface, lshw -c net showed the device as UNCLAIMED.
I just rebooted and chose kernel 2.6.38-11-generic instead of the latest/default kernel (3.0.0-12-generic), and wireless is working again, like it did in 11.04. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/653593 Title: Wireless rt3090sta/rt2860sta/rt2800pci problems To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/653593/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
