Public bug reported:
Freshly installed and updated Ubuntu 11.10 on my EeePC, I properly set
up the power manager to either suspend or hibernate when closing the
lid and enabled the lock screen. By doing I thought it would work as it
would do in Natty.
However when I opened the lid, I got a black screen and could not access
to the lock screen. I tried all possibilities with the ctrl+alt+ any
key, nothing works.
So I had to punch the shutdown button to restart the system... not cool
I know !!!!
My netbook is a EeePC 1000HD and it works fine, overall, with Ubuntu
11.40 and 10.10. If it is a bug how can I report it?
I would be grateful if you could have a check on this matter.
