Hi Steve, thanks for replying.
You are absolutely correct, the volume is changed in "hardware" but the
on-screen display is not shown - neither is the volume indicator changed
on the "top menu" or what ever it is called.
And it looks like it is a copy of bug #357673, don't know why my
searching didn't find that one, could you mark it as a duplicate - i can
not find the duplicate button here on launchpad.
