Sorry this was not intentional.

Just wanted to refer to @Subharo that changing ubuntu to a different
base (like debian stable) may not solve the root problem.

But you are right, this is not the correct bug report to discuss this as
it can start drifting off topic. As you mentioned It should only be used
to track the specific changes for reducing the upgrading risks.
