I tested with: Ubuntu 11.10, kernel 3.1.0-030100rc10-generic Ubuntu 11.10, kernel 3.1.0-999-generic Ubuntu 11.10, kernel 3.1.0-996-generic
With none of the kernels lightdm started, however I checked on the terminal and ifconfig did never show wlan0. If I should check something else, please tell me. As the bug exitsts, I'll add kernel-bug-exists- upstream. ** Tags removed: needs-upstream-testing ** Tags added: kernel-bug-exists-upstream -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/877775 Title: wifi network interface missing after dist upgrade To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/877775/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
