You know, you can build your own kernel package if you want. Just follow the instructions you can find on many websites, using make-kpkg. I can't give you mine, because I don't use Ubuntu anymore. It's pretty easy, you should try, at least you'll learn how to compile Linux. And then you can share your package with others.
