Public bug reported:
On my wife's Toshiba Satellite 1130 laptop, Dapper Drake desktop (v6.06) loads
perfectly.
But Feisty Fawn (v7.04, md5sum e296e3468358789904097fc8df29609a) doesn't load -
it gets partway through setting up the Gnome desktop, and hangs - showing the
gray strips top/bottom of screen, no background image, and the progress
rectangle in the centre showing 'nautilus'.
Something might have gotten broken between Dapper and Feisty in respect
of this model of laptop.
Any ideas? I know how to remaster Ubuntu CDs. Any suggestions of what I
can change?
