Well, depending on your point of view this may be an old feature
restored, but in Unity (Oneiric Ocelot) it would be nice to have the
option of using a global menu for consistency with other applications.
It took me a while to adjust to global menus but now I'd hate to have to
use two different UI paradigms at the same time.
