Public bug reported:

FIrst of all, I can't boot from the DVD drive for any Ubuntu
installation CD, WIndows works fine. I am presently running Ubuntu
11.10 alongside windows 7. I installed Ubuntu 11.04 with wubi and then
upgraded to 11.10. I had the same problem with my DVD drive in 11.04,
so I am wondering if there is a compatibility issue with Asus hardware.
I just bought this drive about 2 months ago to replace an old one. As I
said before everything works fine with windows. It's just Ubuntu I
can't get it to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
