Public bug reported:
When a hard drive is mounted or a USB stick inserted, unlike any
previous version of Ubuntu that I know, no drive icon displays. This
means that drag and drop to drives is no longer supported except in the
Nautilus file browser, making Ubuntu as unintuitive to use as Microsloth
WinDoze. This new version of the Unity GUI presents an even greater
backward leap than the 11.04 version. Please provide a 10.04 style GUI
option.
