Public bug reported:
I installed ubuntu 11.10 64-bit and tried to install program, but the
installation button were gray and had not worked (could not have been hit). If
the program can install additional packages, they also were gray and could not
be marked. But with "sudo apt-get install" and "sudo dpkg -i" it was possible
to install programs without errors. I tried 32bit ubuntu on another computer,
still same problem.
In the forum I found advice to try some commands, but they did not.
sudo dpkg --configure -a
sudo apt-get clean all
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install ttf-mscorefonts-installer
