Kapil, is bug #879731 the only thing involving fixing the session expiration and reconnecting?
I don't think this is a duplicate of that... but its definitely related. Marking Confirmed and High, since I've run into this myself on my laptop. The timeout does seem *very* low. Given the regular network partitioning of 5 - 10 seconds people see on AWS [1], 2s seems a really low and unrealistic timeout.
