Public bug reported: This corruption started up once I upgraded to Ubuntu 11.10. It appears to only affect the Unity interface, since any text or graphics appearing in downloaded applications looks perfectly fine. I opened System Info, and it says that my video/graphics card is "unknown." My computer is an HP Pavilion Media Center s7415c Desktop PC. Submitted an apport bug report thing. Forgive me, I am an Ubuntu noob, I wish I knew what other information would be helpful. ^^;
