Public bug reported:

1) Ubuntu 11.10
2) gnome-shell: Installed: 3.2.0-0ubuntu1

3)
various system actions (e.g. installing software) require authentication. I
have a shared system with several admin users, but the policykit authentication
agent that comes with gnome-shell picks the wrong one (whose password I don't
know) and offers no choice to select another user either. Basically making the
system unusable.

4)
the correct user should be preselected, and changing users should be possible

** Affects: gnome-shell (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
