Dear submitter,

Commonly Xubuntu is used on machines that have low performance hardware.
If that is not applicable to you I would recommend to use Ubuntu (more
information is available at www.ubuntu.com). I would not recommend that
you attempt an upgrade from Xubuntu to Ubuntu. Perform a clean install
instead.

Thank you for taking the time to report this issue and helping to make
Ubuntu better. Examining the information you have given us, this does
not appear to be a bug report so we are closing it and converting it to
a question in the support tracker. We understand the difficulties you
are facing, but it would make more sense to raise problems you are
having in the support tracker at https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu if
you are uncertain if they are bugs. For help on reporting bugs, see
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ReportingBugs.

I would also suggest that you create a new thread in the Ubuntu forums
(www.ubuntuforums.org) or create a new question on Ask Ubuntu
(askubuntu.com) pages. These two websites are dedicated to helping
individuals who are using Ubuntu or derivatives.

Regards,
Peter Dam (SwitchDK)
