Hum... I'm sorry but I don't think logging out is a good enough fix for this issue. It definitely doesn't make Ubuntu any better, and the time a new user will try to add the calculator (or another app, as I've had that before with other apps) he will just think it's not working. He might log out, come back and find that it's there, but he will more likely see it as a bug and re-report it, or simply try another OS. I really don't mean to sound too negative but I just don't think that this bug as been fixed... Thanks.
