Since the last upgrade (IIRC one of the packages was hal), mounting encrypted partitions works again on my system.
The same update also changed the unmount procedure: Instead of "Eject" I now have "Unmount Volume" in the context menu of the volume icon. Also I have to unmount each partition separately, before, when using eject, all partitions where unmount as soon as I clicked Eject on one of them.
