Not that I remember anything. I have just kept upgrading the packages with Update Manager or apt-get (dist-)upgrade. At some point I installed Skype:i386 based on suggestions on this bug report https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ia32-libs/+bug/852101
