The patch noted in comment #11 is now available in the kernel
(3.0.0-13.21) in the oneiric-proposed pocket. Thus I'm marking the
Oneiric nomination Fix Committed. The patch has also been applied and
released for Precise, so I'll mark the actively developed linux task as
Fix Released. Thanks.
