I have the Samsung n127 (the system has identified it as the n128), and I found a workaround: You must remove the module samsung-laptop in /etc/rc.local: rmmod samsung-laptop And restart OS, but brightness/backlight will not work, so you must log out and again log in... And it all worked! P.S. Will it work for you? And how to automate this process? I do not know...
