This does not seem to be a bug in the typo3 package but a missing or
wrong mysql password for the administrative database user (root). The
error message indicates this:
ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password:
YES).
unable to connect to mysql server.
Make sure you give the correct password for root during the installation
of typo3 otherwise the database user and the database for typo3 cannot
be created which results in this error.
