regression-update running-unity ubuntu

** Description changed:

I have recently upgraded to 11.10 version (64 bit). The most common
problem i am facing is unable to find my running apps during alt+tab
  combination.

steps that i use to reproduce it:

  1. open skype and login.
  2. open some other apps like gchrome firefox etc..
  3. be on chrome and use alt+tab to switch to skype .
  Expected:
skype should be shown and shud be navigatable to that app.

  actual:
Skype is not shown on the list. if i minimize chrome manually then i can see
skype. If i use the left navigation bar where skype is shown, and hit the skype
icon it opens a fresh instance of skype instead of showing the logged in
instance. and say if i log in skype says already instance is running. The same
is the problems with spreadsheet applications.
