Public bug reported:

To reproduce install Clementine from Ubuntu software center in 11.10
Oneric. Install Avant Window Navigator. Right click Clementine icon in
AWN and select close option. Open System monitor and look for Clementine
and you will see it's still running at 84-96% of one cpu core. If you
open Clementine again and close it again you will now see two
Clementines with different PID running one two cores, if you open it a
third time, it does it again now with three processes. When I got to to
four my system became unstable because the CPU was maxed. I tried
killing processes in System monitor and they went zombie and would not
stop until the system was rebooted.

This only happens when i use Avant icon to close windows. I should also
mention that I am running Gnome Shell and have not tried this on Unity.
For now as a work around I am just selecting quit from the main menu in
Clememntine, but this will happen sometimes when I hit the close button
on the window, though this behavior is random where as it is consistent
with AWN.
