True, I'm aware of the problem. Nevertheless the source of the problem is not Xubuntu, but the elementary iconset. I guess we'll have to figure out what to do about the icon theme in general in the upcoming cycle. (The elementary devs have recently introduced quite a few inconsistencies in their icon theme.)
