Public bug reported:
First of all, brightness control is working well using control keys (Fn-Arrow
up, Fn-Arrow down). But dmesg shows "ACPI: Failed to switch the brightness".
After closing and opening the lid, the brightness is not restored back. Only
after pressing Fn-Arrow Up several times.
If I set the acpi_backlight=vendor the error in dmesg is not appears, but
brightness is not restored after opening lid.
