Yes I'm using full unity not 2D. I don't know if its related, laptop I have issue with is Dell XPS L502X with integrated intel graphics card (Sandy Bridge) and additional Nvidia card (Optimus). Most of the time I don't use nvidia and its turned off with ACPI call. I know there is some issues with i915 drivers, but I don't know if it also affects compiz this way.
But if you can not reproduce issue, either I mess something or its i915 and compiz issue. Maybe someone else with similar hardware configuration can confirm.
