Public bug reported:
on a MacBook Pro 2,2, resuming after suspend has become tricky.
Actually the system is woken up, but the screen does not turn on again.
An inelegant workaround I found out by myself (after vain searches in the
newsgroups) is:
1. switch to terminal 1 (ctrl+alt+F1) -> black screen again
2. switch back to X (ctrl+alt+F7) -> the lcd comes alive
Note: terminals from 1 to 6 are always "mute" (black screen), even
before suspending, but at least tty1 is working, according to blind-
typing commands effects. Maybe this is another bug anyway...
I'm aware the HW is rather old, but it used to work pretty well with
10.04 LTS so far.
