Public bug reported:
Pulseaudio's jack detection changes to the "Analog Headphones" when the
headphones are plugged in. This is fine, except that I only get
headphone sound when I switch it back to "Analog Speakers".
More investigation has revealed that the "Analog Headphones" profile has
muted the "Speaker" channel in alsamixer. Unmuting that allows me to get
headphone sound on the "Analog Headphones" profile. This unmuting is
lost when unplugging/replugging the headphones.
To me this sounds like a sound card quirk. In the mean time, is there a
workaround way to stop the unmuting from being lost?
