Public bug reported:
The headphones were working great until I plugged the external speakers
into the usb port in the front of the computer. It changes the settings
somehow and the external speakers didn't work. I unplugged the
external speakers and put on the headphones. Now they do not work. I
can't figure it out. Why didn't it return or recognize the headphones.
I am sooo frustrated. This is the second time this has happened and
the last time I had to reinstall the program to get the headphones to
work. It has to be something very simple and I am NOT getting it.
Please help! I am running Ubuntu 11.10. I really do not want to go
back to Windows but I am not liking this speaker thing.
