Reproducable.
Open gnome-activity-journal and 'top' in a terminal.
Work with files, e.g. remove four or five event addresses.
Watch how python races to 100% cpu.
Gnome-activity-journal will freeze, closing via window button ends up with
force quit.
Attached an extract from .xsession-errors.
