** Description changed: Hey there, I'm not sure whether this is a bug in Nautilus or Mutter or GNOME Shell but first things first: When I was copying files from my external hdd, the progress bar window at first popped up as usual. But as soon as I tried to restore it after bringing some other application into the foreground I couldn't find it anymore (neither through Activities nor by minimizing everything). The files, however, were still being transferred as I could tell from observing disk space and disk activity. Obviously, I'm not the only one: http://askubuntu.com/questions/72205 /when-copying-files-and-the-focus-is-changed-the-file-copy-status- window-is-no-lo + [UPDATE]: Even without focusing another application first the transfer + status window is not available in Activities. + Version information: Ubuntu 11.10 64bit, Kernel 3.0.0-12-generic Nautilus 3.2.1 GNOME Shell 3.2.0
