Public bug reported:
I have the indicator with the CPU monitoring enabled and noticed that
whenever I unplug my laptop (T420s) from AC, the CPU usage increases.
After watching top while I unplugged, I noticed the inidicator-multiload
process was partly to blame (compiz was also using more CPU after I
unplugged) for that, but once I closed the indicator I noticed that the
CPU usage would stay pretty much constant after unplugging, so I'm led
to believe the extra CPU usage from compiz was driven by the indicator.
FWIW, gnome-system-monitor has the same behaviour -- as soon as I
unplug, I see a spike in overall CPU usage and then it stabilizes at
about 10% more than the overall usage before unplugging.
