Third time of trying to install Ubuntu 11-10, once on an old Dell laptop and twice on a desktop. First two occasions resulted in the installation failing to proceed beyond configuring the keyboard. On this occasion the installation on a 40GB drive appeared to be proceeding well and then crashed. I'm rapidly coming to the conclusion that this Linux won't be going in easily, if at all.
