I've windows XP orignally on my laptop (laptop specs to follow).
I installed Kubuntu 7.04 (Feisty) - server with Kubuntu desktop.
When I tried to boot up the server via Grub I get the following:
First it'll say:
Starting up...
then screen would clear and I would get the following at the bottom of
the screen

It would just get stuck here =(
I get the same thing in recovery mode.
I was told to do the following (when I asked this in the answers section)
add the following to the boot options but it didn't work.
pci=noacpi acpi=off
