First, thanks to jmpvilla for filing this bug and everyone who's
contributed, including the seven others who have indicated they are
affected.

This bug was filed against Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala, and unfortunately
there has not been much work on this bug, even though Karmic has been
End-of-Life for quite some time. Since Karmic is no longer supported,
this bug is only eligible for fixing in xl2tpd in Ubuntu if it can be
reproduced in a currently supported release--Lucid, Maverick, Natty, or
Oneiric--or in the development version, Precise. Is anyone able to
reproduce this bug in one of those releases? If so, please set this
bug's status back to New and provide details. If no one can reproduce
it, then it can be marked Invalid or Won't Fix.

** Changed in: xl2tpd (Ubuntu)
       Status: New => Incomplete
