Thanks Daniel - will try that. But since this fix was not there at the time of release, I rearranged my whole set up - moved the laptop to the right of my main monitor so the launcher will be in front of me... :-(
Now: I got a new problem, also associated with the honoring of the primary monitor setting: the pop-up notifications unity displays are always on the right edge of the VIRTUAL, the complete desktop. But that is far, far away from where I notice it! So: it is more or less useless! My wish: the primary monitor as set in NVIDEA X Server Settings must: a) display the launcher b) display the notifications Is that possible? Where should I file this bug??? Could you also fix that? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/742544 Title: Launcher is shown on the wrong screen in some multi-monitor setups To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ayatana-design/+bug/742544/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
