I've just noticed a few things ... that the behavior is worst with Firefox, although Thunderbird and Chromium also offend but less so.
... and that an app maybe still be accessible from one work-space but not from another. For instance & in my present session Firefox is not accessible from work-space 3 but it is from work-space 2.
