Done some more in-depth testing, correlating the problem to a possible openGL/video card/driver issue, but it's not.
First of all, I am running: - Lenovo T400 - Ubuntu 11.10 32 bit with Unity - ATI Radeon HD 3400 - No switcheroo enabled (onboard Intel video card disabled by BIOS) Did the following things: - Purged fglrx driver totally and re-fixed a base install of the stock driver: problem still there. - Reverted to the default theme (Ambiance): problem still there. - From the install disk (USB), try Ubuntu: problem is not there... - Upgraded fglrx driver to latest version from ATI website (11.10... how nice is that !): problem still there. It seems to me that is related to the compiz/unity plugin. I will see if I can find a way to make it disappear to see what plugin is exactly causing it. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/885941 Title: Windows top bar focus transparency not behaving properly To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity/+bug/885941/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
