Terry - I am using Debian Linux here and managed to get my D1660 to print successfully by doing the following:
Driver used: HP Deskjet d1600 Series, hpcups Then go to Job Options and scroll down for "Image Options". Change the "Scaling" setting from the default (100%), to 99%. The printer would not print using the d1600 hpijs driver. Although it printed with the d1600 hpcups driver, the footers at the bottom of each page would print with a mix of colors and were uneven. When I found the "Image Scaling" setting and changed this to 99%, the footer now prints a little higher up on the page, but it now prints properly and without any of the colors mixing. Hope this helps. :) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/849563 Title: hp deskjet D1660 will not print To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cups/+bug/849563/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
