This bug is due to the removal of the file linux/smp_lock.h in Linux kernel versions 2.6.39 and later. The old version 0.8.7 of lirc that comes with Ubuntu 11.04 does not support such newer kernels.
The only solutions I can suggest right now are: (a) Switch back to the 2.6.38 kernel that Ubuntu 11.04 is meant to use; or (b) Upgrade to Ubuntu 11.10 which comes with kernel 3.0 and lirc 0.9. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/883657 Title: package lirc-modules-source 0.8.7-0ubuntu4.1 failed to install/upgrade: lirc kernel module failed to build (fatal error: linux/smp_lock.h: Arquivo ou diretório não encontrado) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lirc/+bug/883657/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
