Public bug reported:
After an upgrade to 2.6.38-12-generic, I cannot use my laptop with
external monitor only (laptop screen disabled). In this configuration
the both monitors don't receive any signal. The configuration work
perfectly (LVDS1 off, HDMI1 primary) with older kernel
[2.6.38-11-generic].
My hardware: Lenovo Thinkpad X201, external monitor connected via dock
displayport to hdmi monitor.
