Public bug reported:
I am using Ubuntu in Spanish. When I search in the dash for "Centro de
Software" (Ubuntu Software Center), the first result is "Cerrar sesion"
(Logout) until I press the "n" of "Centro. The problem is that if I type
quickly "Centro" and then press intro, without any pause, the dash will open
the Logout option. My guess is that the intro key press is answered before the
search is done, and the result for "Ce" is opened instead of the result for
"Centro".
This is also a problem with the alt-f2 dialog. For example, when reporting this
bug, I type in the alt-f2 dialog "ubuntu-bug compiz" and quickly press intro.
It failed, because it only recognized "ubuntu-bug comp". Waiting a second
before pressing intro solves the problem.
I know this is not a serious issue, but it is very annoying, and I think the
solution is simple. Maybe a simple delay in the intro action will do. I hope
this is considered for oneiric-updates.
