The weird orange theme is fixed; the single close button is a GNOME
design decision. If you'd like to have additional close buttons, I
recommend you install and try gnome-tweak-tool.

I'm going to go ahead and close this bug. You shouldn't change
/usr/share/gnome-shell/theme/ unless you know what you're doing. And if
your tweaks don't work, reinstalling gnome-shell should fix it.
