Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-core

After upgrading to xserver-xorg-core v. 1:1.0.2-0ubuntu10.3 the X didn't start
(even 'xinit' didn't work).
My graphics card is "ATI Technologies, Inc. Radeon Mobility M6 LY [Radeon
Mobility 9000]".
Changing the driver from 'ati' to 'vesa' didn't change anything.
The Xorg.0.log is overwritten, but the only error that it had was: (EE) Device
not found. (or similar).
After instaling the 1:1.0.2-0ubuntu10 version everything returned to normal
state.
The version 1:1.0.2-0ubuntu10.1 also doesn't work.
My hardware: Dell Latitude C610, PIII 1GHz, 512MB, Radeon Mobility M6 LY.
Running: Kubuntu 6.06.1 (with latest KDE <3.5.4> from kubuntu.org)

** Affects: xorg-server (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Untriaged
         Status: Unconfirmed
