Most of the items are available through other means, such as minizime via the window controls or move/resize by the areo snap. However, being unable to move the window between workspaces really breaks the mutliple worspace workflow.
The only way to switch workspaces now is to unmaximize it, move it to the appropriate workspace, and then maximize it again. This is both inefficient for the user and disruptive for applications that gets redrawn in a smaller window. For instance, moving a full terminal with a programming session in Vim this way might disrupt any window splits due to the change of terminal size. See the attached screenshot for an example with a 3x2 split after the terminal has been re-maximized. ** Attachment added: "A Vim session with a 3x2 window split after re-maximizing" https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity/+bug/872667/+attachment/2589321/+files/resize_bug.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/872667 Title: cannot open right click pop up menu while window is maximized To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity/+bug/872667/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
