After some research I have found that there is a quirk required for some USB devices audio to work properly, source: http://pkgbuild.com/~heftig/linux-zen/usb-add-reset-resume-quirk-for-several-webcams.patch I am now rebuilding Oneiric's kernel with the USB_QUIRK_RESET_RESUME for my webcam model, will report the results.
