Public bug reported:
We have had a few requests over the last couple of years to offer a
powernap-gtk graphical interface. This bug is a placeholder to collect
our thoughts about what might land there.
For starters:
- An interface to powernap-now and powerwake-now, for manually toggling the
local machine in and out of powernap mode
- A Unity-compliant indicator (or better yet, an addition under the existing
power indicator) for checking PowerNap's status, and conveniently launching the
PowerNap GTK interface
- Graphical configuration of the options available in /etc/powernap/config
- A graphical display of the MODULES and SERVICES on the system, with the
ability to move them in and out of the lists of things PowerNap will
enable/disable when toggling powersave mode
- ...
