Apparently this worked on the -23 kernel with the patch posted here http://desrt.mcmaster.ca/macbook.xhtml According the the blog Bill Collins applied it and everything worked, I am running the -26 kernel and it no longer works - when i press the key in xev no event is registered. Is it possible to update this in the next security release?
