Public bug reported:
I'm using Ubuntu Feisty on a HP nw9440 laptop, with latest nVidia drivers and
Beryl running.
When I switch to the character console, going back to graphics (Alt+F7) just
gives a black screen with only the mouse arrow. The system does not respond to
the keyboard or mouse button. I can go back to screen 1 and again to screen 7,
once. At this point I cannot leave anymore the black screen and have to do a
hard manual shutdown. This behavior is systematic.
This didn't happen with Edgy, and doesn't happen without Beryl or Compiz.
I did't find anything useful in the logs, sorry.
